It's been a while... but things have been going great! Next week I have finals for my spring term and then summer term starts the next week! crazy right? By the fall I will technically be a junior credit wise. Well I got a job at a call center.... don't laugh... but it's for different online dating websites. Hilarious, I know. It makes me feel a little better about my love life though, hahah. The pay is good and there is never a dull moment so I can't really complain :] The weather is finally beginning to warm up and I'm LOVING it! This summer has gone by SO fast and I can't wait for the fall so I can be reunited with my girls! I am so excited to live with Kara and Laura and to have Hillary and Rachel as neighbors :] Although this summer has been kind of quiet, it's been good for me to self reflect and recover from the past couple of years when I have been completely busy. I'm the type of person that enjoys stress so this has been weird for me.
Some things that I have done this summer.....

Become Legendary... Make A Difference
"I don't know what my calling is. But I want to be here for a bigger reason. I strive to be like the greatest people who have ever lived." - Will SmithI love this quote! I feel like we all have a purpose and that we all have the potential to do great things in life. I don't know what I will do, all I know is that I want to somehow make a difference in the world... Anyone can make a difference... it just takes a little effort.
This video was shown to me in a meeting the other week and I absolutely love it... check it out!

California Girl
August 2010 I moved from warm, sunny California to Provo, Utah to attend Brigham Young University. Never living in snow before, this winter was definitely a new experience. I have absolutely loved my time at BYU so far. I have met so many new people and have learned a lot about myself. The friends I have made will always have a place in my heart as we continue to grow and learn throughout our college years. I am proud to be a Cougar and am so happy that I decided to come to BYU. Although I miss the warm weather, I know this is where I am supposed to be.

One of my biggest dreams in life is travel. I would love to be able to just drop everything and go explore a new place... I want to be more spontaneous and daring. Why not go and live your dreams? What's stopping you? There is so much out there in the world that I want to explore. There are so many different cultures and ways of life. There are so many beautiful places to see. Hopefully next summer I will be able to study abroad, and see the world. |
